Tenders often contain complex contractual and environmental compliance clauses. Making sense and managing compliance over the cause of a project can be time consuming and potentially costly if clauses are not enacted. Non-compliance can lead to cost blow outs, major time delays and in some cases the failure of a project.

One system designed and built in partnership with Ian Woodward (Principal Environmental Scientist) allowed the methodical input of each compliance clause of a tender. For each clause, triggers and actions where entered and subsequent compliance clauses or actions linked in.

Once all compliance information was entered the system automated the management of compliance, sending emails and flagging tasks to complete as they fell due.
